Dravis's Baby Shower

Heather had the baby shower on Sunday for little Dravis. Rebekah, Kim, Diane and Jenny all pitched in to make the shower possible. They had it up at Madison's Cafe on Manchester Road. While the girls were there, the boys watched the Cardinal game at Hot Shots. The girls had lots of appetizers and a delicious cake made by Aunt Rene. The boys showed up at the end to pick up all the goodies and eat the left-overs. There were still enough to bring some home.

Cardinals vs Reds

Rebekah, Monte, Heather and I went to the Cardinals game this Friday. We were playing the Reds and started off losing 4 to 0 at the top of second inning. One of the runs had scored on an in-the-park home run. That was somethign I had not seen before, and don't care to again when it is hit against us.

None of us were too pleased until around the 4th inning when the Cardinals really started up the pace. In the end, Ankiel hit a game-winning grand slam. The entire stadium went nuts. It's pretty amazing how the former pitcher redefined himself into a really good outfielder.
